Fair play
Rules & privacy.
How competitions work, what we expect from every participant, and how we look after your information.
Competition rules
- Competitions are open to students of Class 6 to Class 12. You may only take part in competitions for the class shown on your profile.
- Like at school, every student moves up one class automatically on 1 January each year (up to Class 12). You cannot change your class yourself. If your class is wrong, contact us and we will correct it.
- Each account belongs to one student. Sharing accounts or taking an exam for someone else leads to disqualification.
- All participants of the same class sit the same question paper, whichever version (Normal, Pro or Max) they choose. Each version is ranked separately.
- Specific rules for a competition are written on its page and are part of these rules.
Registration & payment
- Registration fees are shown for each version on the competition page, together with the payment method.
- After paying, you must submit correct details: email, the number you paid from, your own number, the transaction ID and your institution.
- Every registration is checked by hand. Each transaction ID can be used for one registration only — the website refuses an ID that has already been used. A registration with a wrong or unverifiable transaction ID will be rejected.
- Your exam page shows your status at all times: pending, approved or rejected (with a reason).
- Questions about payments or refunds should be sent to us using the contact details below.
During the exam
- The organisers release the questions on exam day. Once released, you may start within the entry time shown on your exam page.
- When you press Start, your personal timer begins and cannot be paused. When it reaches zero, your saved answers are submitted automatically.
- Every participant gets the questions and the answer options (A, B, C, D) in a different order, so sharing letters with others does not help.
- Answers are saved as you choose them. If your connection drops, reopen the exam page to continue while time remains.
- Leaving the exam page is recorded. Copying questions, using outside help or any unfair means may lead to disqualification.
Results
- After the exam ends, the results are prepared automatically from submitted papers.
- Rankings are ordered by score; when scores are equal, the faster finishing time ranks higher.
- The organisers review every leaderboard before publishing it and may correct or remove entries where rules were broken. Their decision is final.
- Published results, dates and ranks stay in your dashboard permanently.
Referrals & tokens
- Every student has a personal invite link and code on their dashboard.
- You earn 1 referral point when a friend who signed up with your link or code has their first competition registration approved. Signing up alone does not earn a point.
- 10 referral points make 1 token. Each competition shows which versions accept tokens and how many tokens they need. A token entry is confirmed straight away.
- Tokens can only be used where the competition page allows them, and they cannot be exchanged for money.
- If a token registration is cancelled by the organisers, the token is returned.
- Every invited friend is checked automatically. A friend does not count if they use the inviter’s phone number, sign up on the inviter’s phone or computer, or share a phone number or device with another invited friend. Paying from a family member’s account is fine. Registrations in free competitions may not count.
- Creating fake accounts or self-referrals is not allowed. The organisers may remove points or tokens that were earned unfairly. Their decision is final.
Privacy
- We collect only what we need to run competitions: your name, email, phone number, class, institution, payment reference details and your exam answers.
- Your password is stored in encrypted (hashed) form. Nobody, including the organisers, can read it.
- Published leaderboards show your name, institution, version, score and time. Your email, phone and payment details are never shown publicly.
- We count page visits to understand how the website is used. Visitors who are not logged in are counted anonymously. When you are logged in, our team can see which days you used the website and how many pages you opened, so we can support you better. We do not sell or share your information with advertisers.
- You can ask us to correct or delete your account through our Support page.
